Hunt for Radio Treasure at the AHARS Big Annual Buy & Sell
Date : 10 / 07 / 2026
Author : Adelaide Hills Amateur Radio Society
REMINDER - If you're looking to add a new radio to the shack, track down that elusive component, clear out surplus
equipment or simply catch up with fellow amateurs over a coffee, the Adelaide Hills Amateur Radio Society's Big
Annual Buy & Sell is well worth putting on your calendar.
The popular event returns on Saturday 11 July 2026, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, and will once again be held indoors
at the Marion RSL, 31-39 Norfolk Road, Marion, South Australia.
With catering available on site, it's the perfect opportunity to browse, bargain and socialise with the amateur
radio community.
Whether you're a seasoned operator, a newcomer to the hobby or simply enjoy exploring tables full of radios,
antennas, test equipment, components and electronic treasures, there's always something interesting to discover.
Events like these are also a great chance to meet other amateurs, exchange ideas and share experiences.
Sellers can reserve a table for $10, which includes two entry wristbands, by contacting Geoff VK5JB via buyandsell@ahars.au.
Admission for buyers is just $5, making it one of the most affordable ways to spend a Saturday morning immersed in
amateur radio.
The Wireless Institute of Australia encourages amateurs across South Australia and beyond to support this popular
event hosted by the Adelaide Hills Amateur Radio Society. For more information, event details and table bookings, visit:
